Videos I Think Are Cool, From Bands I Listen To

Well, my morbid masses, it seems due to my absence last week I have fallen a bit behind on me writing, and we can't have that. After all, I have some new and exciting things I'm working on, as well as my normal stories. So, I thought I would give you a little peek-a-boo into the music I like.

Mostly I listen to Nox Arcana or Beethoven.

Truth be told, I am a goth at heart - and yes, I do wear black most of the time, and stay out of the sun. I collect Living Dead Dolls, little coffins, and me bedroom looks like it's Halloween every day. It's just who I am and who I have always been. When other little girls were dressing their barbies up as princesses, mine were wearing black capes I made them, and having funerals.

Now, I do not want you to think I am some whiney emo who wishes for death, or sits and complains about the absolute weirdness that is my life. Yes I complain, but only when stupidity gets to be too much even for me.

Where was I? Oh yes, music.

Obviously, I can not put everything up here I like, so here is just a glimpse. Enjoy, don't, or go cry somewhere - it's up to you... See you all tomorrow.

  1. It appears you've scoured my iPod for this post. "She's in Parties" is my "end of the day" Bauhaus pick - something to play to usher in easy dreaming. And, as far as Sisters' videoes go, I do so love Andrew's stick-swinging and Patricia popping up here and there (she has a special place in my heart). Especially in "Dominion."

It's quite interesting what this list says about you. Not the dark aesthetic that can be easily gleaned from any common inspection of your site and your work, but the personal aspects of your character. It's the sort of message that reveals what good company I'm keeping these days and why I'm appreciative of your efforts here.

  2. Wow, Sisters of Mercy.
--That was fun. Thanks, Lili(th). :)

  3. @KingUnicorn I appreciate that you appreciate, and consider me good company.I would like to think that everyone who visits the Lair have as much of an appreciation of the darker aspects of life as I do. Bauhaus has always been one of my favourites as well. I remember playing their tape so much it broke. Sisters of Mercy are bloody brilliant live. Actually the only two on here I have not seen are Shakespears Sisters and Beethoven. There was so much more I wanted to list, but I am working on a two new story arcs for Lili. Anyway, I'm glad I am in good company as well. Cheers

  4. @Timeshadows It's like a walk down memory lane is it not?
