IT 2
Although irritated at the fact that I have to wait so long, I'm thrilled to share that New Line Cinema has finally gotten around to starting principle photography on part two of the reboot of Stephen King's IT

Bill SkarsgĂ„rd resumes his brilliant portrayal of Pennywise the Clown. Also joining the cast,  according to IMDB, as The Adult Losers Club are Jessica Chastain as Beverly Marsh, James McAvoy as Bill Denbrough, Jay Ryan as Ben Hanscom, James Ransone as Eddie Kaspbrak, Bill Hader as Richie Tozier, and Isaiah Mustafa as Mike Hanlon.

Directed by Andy Muschietti and written for the screen by Gary Dauberman. IT 2's tenative release date is 6 September 2019(!).

Muschietti spoke to SYFY and talked about how IT 2 would incorporate the character Maturin – the god turtle. "But I think in the second part, the turtle will try to help them. In the second movie, the turtle left a few clues to their childhood that they don’t remember,” he told SYFY. “They have to retrieve those memories from the summer of 1989, and that’s how we jump back to 1989. The keys to defeating to Pennywise are left in the past, and as adults, they don’t remember.”

IT 2 is part of Comic Con's Scare Diego. You can read all about it at Deadline Hollywood.
